ABOUT ROHINI FOUNDATION

Rohini Foundation, founded by Dr. Sampath Reddy, is a nonprofit organization committed to improving children's oral and general health through preventive care and community programs. Guided by the belief that prevention is better than cure, we focus on early education, awareness, and action in underserved communities.

Aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goal 3 – Good Health and Well-being, our approach integrates oral health, nutrition, and hygiene into a single preventive framework. By empowering children as health ambassadors and fostering partnerships with schools, corporates, and public agencies, we work toward creating healthier, stronger, and more resilient communities.

Through innovative projects and mobile health initiatives, we reach children in remote and rural areas. Our evidence-based programs promote long-term behavior change and measurable health impact. Recognition from leading institutions underscores our credibility and commitment. Every smile we protect brings us closer to a future where every child has the right to good health and confidence.

Mission Vision Values

MISSION ZERO CAVITY
"Dentistry is not expensive - neglect is. Prevention is better than cure."

Rohini Foundation's flagship initiative, Mission Zero Cavity, champions preventive oral health among children, emphasising its link to overall well-being. We believe early education fosters lifelong healthy habits. Alarmingly, national surveys reveal widespread dental caries and anemia among children, underscoring the urgent need for action. Our preventive model promotes regular brushing, reduced sugar intake, and oral health education. Through collective efforts, we aim to build a generation empowered with knowledge, health, and confidence.

DATA-DRIVEN SOLUTIONS FOR SUSTAINABLE HEALTH IMPACT

Rohini Foundation's programs are evidence-based and aligned with national health priorities. Insights from NFHS-5, the Indian Dental Association, and project evaluations guide our preventive interventions. We maintain a digital database to record screenings, treatments, and program outcomes.

Key Findings Supporting Our Work:

  • 67.1% of children (6–59 months) and 57% of women (15–49 years) in Telangana are anemic.
  • Over 52% of Indian school children have untreated dental caries.
  • Integrated preventive programs improve both oral and general health outcomes.
  • AI-assisted screening enhances detection accuracy and follow-up.

By blending technology, behavioral science, and community engagement, we drive measurable, scalable, and sustainable health transformation with the support of a digital database that ensures proper documentation and analysis of camp and student health information.
