Preventive Oral Health Care Treatment Initiative

Located in the heart of healthcare, ROHINI is dedicated to instilling hope and improving lives through a variety of health development programs. Over the past three years, ROHINI has been a beacon of progress, organizing numerous events and touching the lives of countless individuals. Through our efforts, we have screened over 75,000 children and provided treatment to over 5000 in our health camps.

In May 2022, we launched our latest endeavour: the Preventive Oral Health Care Treatment project. Our mission is to extend quality dental care to underprivileged children, including those who are hearing impaired, visually challenged, attend government schools, and reside in juvenile homes.

Our comprehensive preventive oral health care treatment includes services such as oral prophylaxis, fluoride application, pit and fissure sealants, and the application of acidulated fluorophosphate gel. Each month, we aim to treat an average of 1250 children, totalling approximately 15,000 children per year.

Our target demographic for this initiative is government school children aged between 5 to 18 years. The duration of the preventive oral healthcare treatment program spans three years, from 2022 to 2025, during which we anticipate reaching and treating around 45,000 children.

Through diligent reporting and monitoring, we ensure transparency and accountability in our efforts to improve the oral health of children in our communities. Together, let us build a brighter and healthier future for generations to come.
